F.I.T.™

F.I.T.™ is an engineered blend of sealants designed to strengthen sub-surface formations while preventing loss of expensive drilling fluids, minimizing differential sticking tendencies, and reducing drilling time.

F.I.T.™ enhances the particle size distribution of a drilling fluid system or an LCM pill while increasing formation integrity, especially in fractured shale and depleted sand formations.

It effectively screens out fracture tips as drilling proceeds through natural and induced fractures, increasing fracture closure stress, thereby creating a stress cage around the wellbore.

It also provides quick sealing in vugular formations. F.I.T.™ is often used in conjunction with BlockadeTM to achieve a "Squeeze While Drilling" effect or to produce a "Soft Squeeze" pill.

F.I.T.™ can be added to the whole mud system in concentrations up to 25 ppb for continuous protection. Pills containing up to 50+ ppb can be applied in sweep fashion or spotted across thief zones when losses or depletion are encountered.
